How to Pick the Perfect Firearm

In a nutshell, the “perfect gun” is the one that works for you. Purchasing a gun is a big deal. It is a personal decision that takes on personal responsibility. It is also a financial decision. When you decide, you want to do so based of of thorough research that you’ve personally done. Ask trusted individuals that can help direct you, yes, but be sure that you’ve used your resources in finding out more about the firearm you’re considering. Check out YouTube reviews. Rent one at the range and shoot it. Go to a local firearms dealer, including the range, and at least ask to see it and hold it in your hand. Does it fit well? Is it heavy, awkward or bulky? If the range doesn’t have the exact one, but the gun-maker has other firearms, that are similar, try it out. At least you’ll start to get an idea of the manufacturer.
When I purchased my firearm, as soon as it hit my hand, I knew. The ergonomics were perfect for my hand and I knew I could hold it comfortably and with control. Control is number one with firing a weapon. Among other “number ones”, but it’s paramount. If you can’t control the firearm, no other fundamental is going to be of much help. Happy gun buying.
