About Tameka & Aquarius
One Word that describes US: Perseverance
Tameka & Aquarius are the “T” and “M” in “Team.” Back to back in their support of each other and women interested in firearms education and training. Tameka and Aquarius are both NRA instructors, who started out on their personal journey with a passion for truth and a passion for firearms. They quickly realized that the marginalized such as women and specifically black women didn’t have a natural “foot-in” in the culture of firearms, like many others. Seeing women “trying” to find their way into a range, simply to rent a gun and shoot, but only meeting intimidation, from lack of education and the lack of input from women trainers that were like them in so many ways, sparked a fire in these two, to be mentors and trainers, themselves. So, they took the step and started The Lawfully Armed & Skillfully Trained Woman, LLC. Their motto is: “There’s a right way to do everything!” Simply put, this dynamic duo fully believes that the only way to truth is recognizing untruths and pushing past them to realize potential. So, let’s go! Get up there! Your confidence is waiting for you!
